Marquette County 4-H Awards Celebration

Dear 4-H Families,

I am pleased to announce our 2017-18 4-H Awards Celebration! Click here for the official invitation. I would like to explain a little of what will take place at this celebration.
The 4-H Council will provide pizza and water and we are asking families to please bring simple sides that go with pizza- appetizers, desserts, etc.
After the awards portion of the evening, most of the museum will be open for our younger participants to play, while families get to know one another and visit. There will be an area blocked off for our murder mystery, created and hosted by Emma Jezek from Manes & Tails 4-H Club. We will be taking groups of 10-12 people at a time to try to solve the mystery. This is intended for our older youth and parents, and it will be running throughout the evening.
A youth’s sense of belonging is important to develop. What better way to foster this than coming together for an evening of fun and celebrating what our members have learned over the past year?
Recognition is equally important to positive youth development. All youth in attendance will receive participation recognition. Youth who apply for project recognition and specialty awards will be recognized for their work therein. This is also our opportunity to thank our club leaders, parent volunteers, and supportive community members.
You will find detailed information on our county awards program in the 4-H Awards Handbook. If you need any assistance with this process, please reach out to your club leader or to myself. We are here to help!
I sincerely hope to see you there!

Until then, Happy Holidays!
Liana
