The Marquette County 4-H Council is serving Jilbert's Ice Cream at the Fair again (located inside and 4-H Building at the Fairgrounds)! It is a fantastic way to help raise funds for the Marquette County 4-H Program. The Council helps fund 4-H Camp, Exploration Days, National 4-H Congress, and much more!
The 4-H Council has hired two individuals and is looking to hire one more person for the job of ice cream booth manager for the four days of the fair: Thursday, August 8th through Sunday, August 11th. Managers must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for the position. If you are interested, please email Liana at deisenro@anr.msu.edu or call the MSU Extension Office at 906-475-5731.Youth, parents, and club leaders are encouraged to volunteer in the ice cream booth as well. It is a fun way to serve your community and help the 4-H program. Please follow the link below to sign up. Once you are at the sight, type in your name and select your top choice time slot. Scroll over to the right hand side of the page and hit save. That is all you need to do to sign up for the ice cream booth. Space is limited to three volunteers per 2 hour time period.
